Gulnaz Amin Atelier is a bridal couture atelier in Pune creating bespoke gowns, lehengas, veils and hand-embroidered bridal looks. The work is made to measure rather than bought off a rail, and every piece begins with a private conversation about the bride's story, her ceremonies, her personal style and how she wants to feel on the day.
Design, hand embroidery, fitting and finishing all happen in the in-house atelier in Camp, Pune. Visits are private and by appointment, which is what makes it possible to change a neckline, move a motif or adjust a hemline while the piece is still on the table.
Brides usually begin the same way: an appointment, a conversation, and a look at what is possible. There is no obligation to commit at the first meeting.
What we create
Bridal Couture, Piece by Piece
Most brides come to the atelier for one garment and leave having planned a whole look. Each of these is designed individually, and they are designed to work together.
Custom bridal lehengas
Skirt, blouse and dupatta developed as one look, with volume, drape and embroidery planned together. Weight and comfort matter as much as appearance when a lehenga is worn for a full day of ceremonies.
Wedding veils and finishing pieces
Veils designed alongside the outfit so length, edging and embroidery read as one look. Personalised details, such as a monogram or a name, can be embroidered into the veil itself.
Hand-embroidered bridal details
Motifs drawn and placed by hand rather than repeated from a pattern book. Places, family symbols and keepsakes can be worked into the piece so the embroidery carries something specific to the bride.
Heirloom embroidery repair and restoration
Older embroidered garments can be repaired, restored, or carried into something new, so a mother's or grandmother's piece becomes part of the wedding rather than staying in a box.
Family styling and the wider wedding look
Outfits for the mother of the bride and the family around her, and coordination across functions so the whole party reads as one. Discussed at the appointment alongside the bride's own pieces.

Ceremonies, venue, climate, cultural notes, comfort, jewellery and what you want to feel like. This shapes everything that follows.
Design direction, fabrics and embroidery
Silhouette, textiles, colour and handwork are settled into one clear direction, with references welcome.
Development and tailoring
The piece takes form in the atelier: patterns drawn, fabric cut, embroidery worked by hand.
Fittings and refinements
Adjusted to your body and your movement, so it works standing, seated and in motion.
Final finishing and handover
The complete look, including veil and finishing pieces, is checked, pressed and prepared for the day.
